WINEMAKING COMMENTS
From well established, low yielding vines which have produced a wine with great balance, length and fruit intensity.
COLOUR
Deep purple with crimson hues.
AROMA
Intensely fragrant plum, raspberry and blackberry aromas jump out of the glass.
FLAVOUR
Loads of ripe fruit flavours on the palate with hints of vanilla pod and spicy oak supported by soft, supple tannins.
CELLARING
The tannin and acid structure of this wine will reward careful cellaring over the next 5 to 8 years.
FOOD
This full flavoured medium bodied red wine would go well with the gamey flavours of roast quail served with Asian greens.
